M.S. Instructional Design
M.Ed. Applied Behavior Analysis
Hi, I’m Callie, and I am an Instructional Designer with a background in behavior analysis. My promise as an instructional designer is to use evidence-based practices to create the best solution. As a behavioral instructional designer, I thrive in getting under the hood of a problem to understand, assess and develop solutions to empower learners and companies to achieve their goals.
My Commitments
As an Instructional Designer
Designing for Inclusive Learning
As a neurodivergent learner myself, accessibility isn’t just a checkbox for me – it’s my passion and my promise that designing for inclusivity and accessibility is woven into each project. Accessibility is ever evolving – I grow by learning from learners. I’m not here to just meet standards – I’m here to create empowered learning environments where every learner is set up to succeed.
Measuring Learning Success
Data-driven decision-making is my first love, and I never want to start or leave a project without ensuring we thoroughly assess company and learner impact. From the get-go, I’m all about gathering insights and metrics to guide our design process, ensuring that every step we take is purposeful and results oriented.
Learning Activities for Every Need
We know practice makes perfect – so why should eLearning be any different? Regardless of what flavor of learning experience I’m crafting, all my learning designs ensure learners get practice that reflects the skill they need to learn.
On a Personal Note
Instructional Designer by day
Rabid Crocheter by night
I’m based in Albuquerque, New Mexico – my hometown. I’m a reader, gamer, and adventure taker. My favorite things in life are:
Cats
My two cats, Fumio and Ned are always by my side to provide in-depth feedback on any project I’m working on.
Coffee
In my dream world, Pumpkin Spice Lattes would be available all year round – but I’ll take a dark roast black coffee in the meantime.
Crocheting
My creative outlet to my creative in-let, you’ll find me creating silly creatures to gift to friends and family.
